I am using Quicken 2005 Premier Home and Business. I have nothing entered in the "business" center. I would like to take advantage of the free upgrade to Quicken 2006 Deluxe with the purchase of TTax (offered at Staples).
You'd be downgrading from Premier to Deluxe in addition to giving up the Business features. Premier adds several Investment features to Deluxe. There's a $20 price difference between the two [suggesting substantially enhanced functionality].
Go to

and in the upper left corner of the page click on "Personal" then "Quicken" to see a comparison chart of the various Quicken versions.
I also have Q05 Premier H&B and don't use the business features. I've always bought the Premier version , either with or without "H&B", since its inception for fear of what Investment features I might lose.
Does anyone know if Intuit will let you upgrade Q06 Deluxe to Q06 Premier and, if so, what they charge?
I don't own Q06 Deluxe and that Help option isn't in my Q05 Premier H&B Help menu.
I'd be grateful if you'd just tell me how much the Q06 Deluxe -> Premier upgrade costs (or give me a direct link to an Intuit web page).
I'm trying to determine if it will be cheaper to buy TTax at Staples, get their free Q06 Deluxe and then pay to upgrade it to Premier *or* just buy both TTax and Q06 Premier at Sam's Club or Costco.
