I've been going nuts trying to reconcile my account and I figured out the problem: I have a deposit in my register with date 8/15 and it is in state "c". And indeed, the deposit was a transfer and I have the withdrawal in the other account so I know it was a real transfer. AND: the deposit shows up in the paper statement I'm reconciling against.... BUT: when I go to reconcile quicken will *NOT* show that deposit [and so gives me a 10,000 error in the balance]. I can't figure out why it will *NOT* show that transaction. I just changed the transaction to "R" by hand in hte register and that fixed it: my balance now reconciles and all's well. BUT: any idea why a transaction would just *not*show* in the reconcile? thanks!
