Can anyone tell me the best place to put 2,000. I want it for my 'emergency fund', ie it must be available immediately if I need it. Have looked at various deals but they all seem so complicated with restrictions and ifs and buts apply subject to availability calls may be recorded for training purposes - aaaarrrgghhh.
I am 61 and on Pension Credit of 105.45, so I dont pay tax (I think). Unlikely to work ever again due to ill health.
