Wondered if anyone here had a view on this.
On the assumptions that
1) You are going to invest 3,000 in a Cash ISA; and 2) You don't want to mess around moving the account in a few months time to take advantage of a short term guaranteeIs there anything better out there at the moment than the Bristol & West Easylife Fixed for One Fixed Rate Cash ISA (Issue 26) which is offering
5.55%?
What or where is the /Direct Savings Centre/? Do they mean the postal&phone accounts by that?
What happens at the end of the year? Can the money be moved to another provider then?
Presumably Direct Savings is dealing by post / phone etc. rather than through a branch.
I called B&W today and was told that the rate of 5.55% is only guaranteed for this tax year and will drop on 6 April...
