This idea is unbelievable. Surely people aren't this stupid? Oh i forgot its aimed at young professionals and graduates. I didn't think Britannia would be this reckless.

Some people are stupid and things will go wrong for them (but not for Britannia of course). Other people will go into an arrangement like this and will make it work.
I personally would like to see the people offering arrangements like this taking on a little more responsibility in ensuring that they don't lend when it is likely things will go wrong for the borrowers.

The worlds a funny place. When houses are overvalued surely the solution is to try and reduce the value of the houses, not find ways of allowing people to raise vast amounts of cash to pay for them, thus allowing values to continue rising.

Look at the Saturday Times money section - back page editorial. Paula Hawkins doesn't think that it's a wonderful idea either. Neither do I for that matter.
