comparing business accounts

Hi folks

We need to open a business bank account for our very small business. Our local HSBC wants us to stay with them, but maybe we can do this cheaper somewhere else? I've tried googling for info but it's hard to find what I really want - a site that does a straight comparison between what's offered by the different banks. It's easy enough to find info like this about credit cards or mortgages, but where do they compare business accounts? Or is it all just too complex for a straight comparison?

I'd be grateful for any suggestions, or recommendations.

I can't recommend BOS.

You probably need to actually visit all your local branches with a list of what you want from a bank and how much you use the account. The reaction of staff to simple requests like asking to speak to smeone will giveyou a good idea of how they'll treat you when you have an account with them.
