I am looking to invest my annuity tax free lump sum in a high income fund. Can any one tell me where I can see these funds and especially the historical income payments and capital growth (if any). I need to compare their performance with the best income return from say, web saver accounts.
Do you actually want capital growth or all income ? (think CGT vs income tax)
Do you have enough to consider making your own investment decisions and thereby saving the 2%+ in charges. It really isn't that difficult to find out where your favorite fund has invested its money and copy it.
Remember that the past investment performance is often the opposite of the future.
