FPC Certification

Hi I am planning to take FPC this october. What is the best material to buy from cii.co.uk for this preparation? they have different course options ranging from £35 - £135 for each subject. But i don't want to pay too much money, I would appreciate any suggestion regarding the exam.

thanks janam

Are you taking all three papers this October?

You will probably need the course manuals as a bare minimum, and I would strongly recommend past papers at least for FP3. However, take that with a pinch of salt as I took FP2 this afternoon and FP3 is tomorrow, so I don't know if I've passed yet :-)

Coursebook for each paper plus a couple of past papers, in addition there is a work book for paper 3 with lots of questions and worked through answers.

I'm sure you will be OK, after all they are fairly straightforward.

Yep, fully agree with that, that's what I had when I took mine years ago and also the AFPC. I would also recommend the books by BPP they are written slightly better and enable better understanding but do not have all the details in the CII material, you need this aswell.

Good luck.

When doing the MAQ, after some struggling, I was able to find a workbook of questions for both the multi-guess section and the written section, and if anything this was probably more useful than the CII textbook folder.
