Training material for Store Operations

We're looking at acquiring some form of training material to study for the RMS - Store Operations exams (VUE Exam # RMS-12-199, Prometric Exam # MB5-199) and continued support of Store Operations installations.

I am currently the only technical individual responsible for the RMS side of our business, however depending upon demand for this service and others, other individuals may need to be brought up to speed. Additionally, after using the online eCourse offered through STLU.COM for CRM, we wish we had continued access to the available information for future reference.

At current, our #1 goal is to pass the exam, but as a #2 - long term access.

I have identified several different options for training materials: - eCourse from STLU.COM - Foundation Library - ElementK course material (assumed to be hard-copy, or CD-ROM)

Can any one offer any comments, suggestions, or alternatives on the best use of money in the purchase of training materials to meet our goals?

Hi Kevin, I see your post has been out there for a while.. hopefully this infomation is still valuable.

There is currently on-line training as well as self study Training manuals available for the RMS products (either Store Operations or Headqueaarter). The best way to access information about these deliverables (ordering information etc.) is to use Customersource - Services - Training..

There are also Foundation Library tutorials available but I would not recommend them for a comprehensive understanding or preparing for an exam.

Most of the people I have worked with have used the eCourse for intial training and preparing for exams while the manuals have been used as references. Both of these include detailed information about the product.
