Can someone tell me where in the world is the highest interest rate offered on investing dollars or sterling somewhere? Anybody have any suggestions?
I'm talking about guaranteed fixed rate of return! No risk, just highest possible in the world.

And when you say 'guaranteed' do you include or exclude currency movements? Ie not much good getting a 50% return on your patagonian dollars if the currency devalues by 99%.
Well, have a look at the dollar versus sterling over the past 20 years, and see what you mean by 'stable'!
Perhaps you'd better indicate why you ask this question. Is it just academic? If its academic, I'd say the lowest risk / highest return would be to open a casino in Las Vegas, but you'd better have a few hundred million dollars to start with.
If its not academic, then your question cannot be properly answered unless you detail the starting sum, the originating currency, the period of time, and your tax regime.
Not true. Being a long time share holder in London Clubs I think they manage to lose a couple of hundred million building Alladin in Las Vegas despite only asking shareholders to invest 70mn.
Actually I heard of some risk free bonds to build a spaceship to mars and mine for diamonds - 300% return. I think that is what the original post had in mind.
No a simple highest return for money invested anywhere was what I was asking about, forget the tax regime.. Its a simple question.
