Seeking advice... I own a house which many years ago was converted into two flats. I live in one flat and rent out the other.
Can anyone recommend an insurance company that will provide buildings insurance for the whole building?
One possible snag is that the flats do not meet present-day building regulations regards fire-proofing betwen the flats. I don't know if that's a requirement for buildings insurance.
I also want to get contents cover for the flat I am occupying.
