How often are credit card bills sent out? Is it every 30 or 28 days or what? I know the bills aren't dated the same date of the month each month. It can vary by quite a number of days.

IME its every month, give or take a day or two either side of a certain date. I doubt they would send one dated on a sunday for example.
Mine are dated the same date each month, except when it falls on a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holiday Monday, in which case it is sent on the next working day.

In my experience every calendar month rather than lunar month. This means that the statement is usually dated on the same date each month - although to reach you the postal system and public holidays play their part.

Every calendar month. If it was 28 days, you'd get 13 each year, which would confuse most people quite a bit.
