I opened an account with ICICI on 12th July The cheque cleared on 20th July
Numerous emails to ICICI followed
I finally received my account password on 7 October - and you've guessed it - it is not recognised by their system.
All I can say that I opened my acount in early august and everything went perfectly...Ive done the lot including transferring the first transaction (takes 8 days) and trying a test payment to my current account..and I honestly have no compaints to make from my experience.

Got my account going eventually but then lost confidence as further test transactions not progressing at claimed speed. Transferred out my 1 or two OK and cancelled Direct Debit. Then emailed to close account. Six weeks and two emails later no sign of any progress on closure. So claims on radio by ICICI MD that problems are behind ICICI patently not entirely true.
