I know this will be possible from April 06, but I need a financial adviser who understands how these things will work in order to see if my plans are feasible. Can anyone recommend a good IFA who specialises (or will specialise) in this sort of thing?

Call me cynical, but if you add Gordon Brown & pensions - it can only mean trouble (apart from his own Govt pension that is). I suspect the aim is to suck loads of money into SIPP's (with side effect of propping up ailing house market) and once there's a decent pot of money there, GB or his successor will then alter the rules to siphon off a bunch of money....
