Paid in Sterling, Living on Dollars

I have been offered work by a UK company but I will be residing outside the UK, basically I will be working remotely.

I have a UK bank account for the company to pay into, but is that the best idea? Have them pay sterling into that account and periodically transfer funds to my account in my home country?

Since I won't be a UK resident, will I be liable for any UK tax? I believe I will be liable to the taxman in my home country.

You may want to think about getting a bank account local to where you'll be living, and either asking your employer to pay into it, or setting up regular standing orders from your UK account.

Speak to an accountant, but I believe that if you set up a UK compnay, and bill the employer from that company, you can take the salary as dividend payments and avoid NI contirbutions. You will have to pay tax, but this can be offset against any US tax.
