Hi,
I acquired a good lot of canadian dollar coins and wanted to exchange them for pounds. The trouble is that bureau de changes do not accept coins as a rule. Is there another way of doing this in Britain?
Thanks,
Shimei

some airports have change machines which will accept foreign coins.
And many airports, and some banks, will accept coins for charity.
Perhaps he could open an account here denominated in canadian dollars?
Roland.

That wouldnt work either, the bank wont want the cost of shipping the coins back to Canada.
15% usually goes to charity
