Period to obtain ISA dividend tax refunds by COMDIRECT

Nov 10, 2003 1 Replies

Hi,

I am looking to invest in LSE:RBSA (Royal Bank of Scotland Additional Value) shares (ex dividend date 12 Nov). Dividend 55p payable on 1 Dec. ISA Dividend Tax credit due is 6.1p. Any idea what period of time (weeks/months) I can reasonably expect a large broker like COMDIRECT to obtain the dividend tax credit and credit it my account ?

Cheers, Adam

Presumably you are the same person who asked this question on the Motley Fool site.

For the benefit of anyone else who wants to know, the general scheme of things is that dividends paid on or before the 6th of each month have their tax credits reclaimed on the 21st of the following month. Weekends and public holidays can affect this slightly.
