Can someone please tell me....
I understand that there is a company or agency that may be applied to, and upon payment, they will confirm what credit agreements, credit cards, or other items are open or active in your name.
What is that company/agency, or do most credit vetting organisations provide that service?

Equifax and Experian.
They only list those agreements for lenders that register with them, so it doesn't include everything.
and Call Credit
Also CIFAS if there's been any fraud committed at that address or in your name (eg ID fraud)
