8-) I use the same software, but it wouldn't let me make the same mistake without an "Are you sure you want to do this" warning.

It seems that Windows is now clever enough not to reformat a "system" disk.

I have one which I have taken out of a spare machine which I want to put into a portable housing and it point blank refuses to (re) format it.
