Someone has threatened to sue me.
He had a substantial debt to a company where the directors/owners are of the opinion that the amount does not warrant spending good money after bad. They intend to write the matter off as he a reputation of prolonging and wriggling out of court actions.
Is it possible for me to purchase this debt or can this only be done by a licensed credit broker? I would then like to offset this debt against mine. Is this possible?
