Query about filing "Dormant Company Accounts"

Hopefully, this is a simple query for one of the resident experts.

My understanding is that a company that is not trading can submit the DCA form instead of publishing complete accounts.

As a director of a dormant company, I need to fill in one of these forms. The company has never traded. The problem is I don't have access to the original share certificates when the company was created, so i don't know what to enter into the "issued share capital" section. Is there a way I can find out this information?

Thanks in advance

If the company is more than a year old, it will previously have filed reports/accounts, and you could pay Companies House for a copy.

Or for that matter if you are referring to the initial subscriber shares which could well be the case of a untraded and dormant company the details of those should be available on the Memorandum of Association (which you should in theory be able to get from companies house (although I think you may only be able to access them online from companies house direct)
