Just looking for car insurance, and one I'd never heard of before now (Quinn Direct) came up as cheapest.
Anyone heard of them before, with positive or negative experiences? I understand they are Irish-based, but operate out of offices in Manchester, and are FSA registered.
I have heard of them, but that's about it. Nothing adverse known about them.

They'll just be a broker. It's the actual insurance company they recommend that you need to worry about, or not, as the case may be. Brokers are usually the cheapest as they are able to quote on lots of insurance companies. Sites like confused.com go one stage further by going to lots of brokers.
