Does anyone have a standard "geographic" number for Abbey National?
All that I am getting for Abbey National is 0870 607 6000. Even by BT directory inquiries.
I would like a head office switchboard number or something equivalent to that in order to contact Harvey Griffiths in Coventry who is the head of "Abbey Cahoot banking".
So I hope someone here has an old but working Abbey National switchboard number which they have kept from the past.

I use 0161-951 6500
They paid quite a lot, I believe, to use 0845 7654321 but I think they've changed these numbers. I somehow managed to get my local branch number in Hull, 01482 329042, so I'm sure it must be possible to get the Coventry number. Other numbers I've used are 0161 951 6500 and 0645 724 724 and a couple of fax numbers 01274 369 292 and 01482 589083.
