Gone is the fluffy and cuddley branding and hello flickering candle looking thingy.


Have a look at and you might see some similarities ;-)

Disastrous job with the Abbey website though - see how the red background colour doesn't quite match the red on the back of the logos...

Curiouser and curiouser. The below seems to be in two minds about whether their postal ISA rate is 4.9% or 5.35%.

It doesn't much matter. As far as I can tell from having tried since Christmas, they won't let you either put any money into or take it out of one of those accounts. Jessica Gorst-Williams, here I come...

How much money do companies waste in these rebrandings? Would the money not be better spent on improving the service to customers, paying higher dividends to shareholders or offering better rates to customers?

yep good point, rebranding costs a whole lot it has been shown however to be an important factor in business, in turn = greater profitability, = higher dividends to shareholders etc etc
