Short time investment

I am wondering if there is any way to invest couple of thousand £s for short time like 4 to 6 weeks and get a good return. Few people told me about spread bating, forex trading but I am not quite sure. Can anyone help? Thanks

Well I know there is no gain without taking risk, but the question how far can we minimize it? I am prepare to take moderate risk if the idea is good.

Actually, I don't know anywhere where you could invest this money for such a short period with only a moderate risk. You could invest and make a packet, or you could lose much of it.

If 2,000 is all you own in the world then you wouldn't want to take any risks, but if you're actually a millionaire then 2K is horse racing money.
