I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem. I have a HP thermal receipt printer and it takes 20-30 seconds to print a receipt after you tender the sale. It does this anytime you print it to it (x & z reports). It seemed to start doing this a few weeks ago after Windows automatically updated itself. I am not sure if it is related though. Any help would be much appreciated.

I had the same problem, though mine was a new installation. There is a general patch for the driver and the comments said that a debugging or trace statement was accidentally left on in the driver and the patch repaired it. Now my printer is FAST. If your reciept printer uses an OPS driver, check out the vendors site. Mine is an HP.
