Hi All
Thanks for the advice. For others information......I just managed to get throught to them, after spending all morning hitting the redial button on my phone because they were constantly engaged......Anyway, for them to even consider accepting instalements they require a detailed report on your income and expenditure, for you and your wife/partner. Now, this "form" that you need to fill in, they wont send it out to you, it has to be done "online" because thats where their "database" is. Furthermore, it's a painfully long "form", that could take a considerable amount of time to fill in, but if your unable to answer any of the questions that arise, you have to hang up, go and get the said information, and then ring back and start the whole process from the begining. Once the "form" is complete they may then ask for bank statements to verify the information you've given as correct. All this came from the most unhelpful person I've ever spoken to, apart from being told that the "form" was extreamly time consuming, they would give very little further information about what sort of information they would require.
At this point I politely said good bye and hung up.
Best of luck to anyone else who tries...
