I'm sure they work to a degree. There are lots of people in the world with more money than things to spend it on.
I've not read the site - but from the comments above, might it not be that instead of saying falsely "If lost of people send me money they will all become rich" He is honestly saying "If lots of people send me money I can pay off more of my mortgage - and I can be richer" ie a sort of optomistic satire?

He's the site owner and he's spamming us. (Maybe people really are as gullible as he suggests??)
That's certainly the obvious inference, isn't it?
Also rather interesting that the site owner doesn't want to identify themself (either on WHOIS or on the site details), but still expects money to come rolling in.

No, I don't own the site. I received an email about it to my yahoo account. To be honest, the reason I posted here is because I was thinking that, if this site actually has potential, I might try setting one up myself. I would be VERY pessimistic about it at the moment but you never know
