Made a large transaction on my debit card today, which as expected got referred to authorisation. The first question was 'whats the name of the main road near you' to which is the answer is ..which one? the nearby rd they accepted after a few tries, isnt a main rd by any stretch of the imagination.
Anyway, the second Q was 'where do you normally do your shopping' to which I responded 'Store X' and they were happy with that and it went through. It was only later that my SO pointed out that though that is where we do our shopping we never use our debit card, there we always use a credit card (which is with an entirely different bank) so my bank will have no clue where I do my shopping. Bizzarre.
