When are my accounts due?

Dec 05, 2005 7 Replies

I started a Limited Company in Feb 2005. When are my accounts due? When do I have to send stuff to the Inland Revenue?

Thanks,

Jon

10 months after the first years trading has finished.

All the information about Ltd companies and tax etc is available on the web directly from companies house and the tax office.

If your not sure, get an accountant/ book keeper or both.

So are you saying I don't have to bother doing anything this December?

In short- If you started the Ltd company in Feb2005 you should not need to prepare your accounts yet. However, get proper advice on the subject.

What date did you choose for your accounting period,

Just because you started the company in Feb 2005 doesn't necessarily mean that the accounts are due for Feb 2006.
