Fixed Assets?

I am looking at a balance sheet with long-term assets such as notes receivable, investment in joint venture, property, plant, and equipment, intangible assets, and other assets.

Are the fixed assets just the PPE and no other accounts I listed?

Right. The others would be Intangibles (or Intangible Assets) and Other Non-Current Assets, Long-Term Investments, etc. :) Just don't call them all PP&E.
