Are there any POS products that work with major accounting packages (Accpac, Best, MAS200, Navision, Great Plains, ect) that can do remote location polling/updating?

and this is exactly what is needed, but I would like to compare this product against similar products.Does anyone know of POS applications that can:
- Be optimized for the fastest possible checkouts
- Function (in some capacity to do sales) in a WAN environment while not connected to the "main" accounting server/application (in case of internet down time)
- Handle barcode scanners
- Have a simple, intuitive interface for retail counter sales
- Real-time inventory management and lookup for all company locations
- Customer database sharing between remote locations .....more?
