i just feel bad this weekend because i'm willing to do anything to do a good job, i just want to be shown what to do. of course i'm not going to be aggressive, i've only been there 2 months.

You don't need to be aggressive, but don't be passive either. Make sure you let the right folks know that you are willing to learn and that you want to help.
