I'm a newbie on this site, but not to Peachtree - started with DOS package back in 1987-88. I'm not as happy with the company as I was several years ago. Each update (don't get me started!!!!) is getting closer and closer and expensive, with very little substance but alot of fluff. Has anyone here received the following message (and then got kicked out) when trying to access a vendor or other list within Peachtree: "not enough memory to use list box, please close another application and try again." I've been trying to resolve this for FIVE DAYS - won't bore you with the details as to what I've tried and who I've talked with. Can anyone out there help me - PLEASE!?!?!?!?! Dotty

Hi Dotty
The first thing I would try is deleting the files in the TEMP folder. If that doesn't work, you may need to kick up your Btrieve registry settings. Can you give us a little more info such as: What version of Windows are you using? Are you getting this message in all this list boxes or just certain ones? How big are your data files?
I have to agree, all the updates are way too expensive and offer little in the way of improvements.
I have been DUMB enough to stick with PT since the DOS days too and with each new owner and each new version the spftware just gets worse and worse...
my fault BTW just to lazy to transfer all my data to a new program...
all the while everyone I know switched to QB long ago...
Peachtree f****ng sucks!
sad but true!
switch now!
