After i install an add-on, when i tried to run the RMSpos, it gave me an error message, com can't create table. I remove the entire program and the SQLserver, but after i reinstall the RMS back to my computer, it didn't install the SQLserver. Can anyone help??
hi TJW, it is possible that when you uninstall the sql server the service for the sql server was running and when yo again go to installed RMS it deducted the service and not install sql server automatically. you can find the MSDE_PKG folder in RMS CD or MSDE in some cases. Noramlly when you do the uninstall restart your machine so it will bring back the system in normal states and there won't any services of the prior installed run.
When you again installed with above mentioned folder the setup program you need to create the database or attached the data. Make sure one more thing that go to C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Data folder and see if the old files are there if so remove it, if you no need them and then start the installation.
