Allowing duplicate transactions?

Is there a way to allow what the system considers to be a duplicate transaction?

Here's the issue. Customer A comes in and buys 10 widgets in the morning. It's sold to them via credit card. Later in the day, customer A comes back to buy 10 more widgets. The system won't allow it to go through and gives a duplicate transaction error.

How can we allow this to go through?

In my experience, convoluted is correct. We have been using the native credit card authorization in RMS for years and it will not prevent duplicate transactions.

Change the total by a penny, or add an "F" to the beginning of the card number to force the transaction.
