Anyone seen POS 2.0 at BB or CUSA yet? Online?

I have been holding my QB POS (Piece of you know) together for months waiting for the RELEASE of 2.0, only to find NO ONE has it listed on their web sites (Best Buy for Business & CompUSA). ???????????

I called BB and they told me they have no idea when they will have it in stock and that they are still trying to get Office 2007 media from MS, let alone POS 2.0.

So much for the BIG RELEASE????

Anyone seen it for PURCHASE anywhere? I've been ready to buy for months...

It was just released a couple of days ago so it will probably take a while to fill the pipeline. Craig

I just checked customer source for some 2.0 details but all they have on the web-site is 1.3 information. Is there somewhere a web-site with what's included in 2.0?

Never mind, I found a link to the new web-site in a previous post (should have scrolled further down before posting...)

Mid-February? That is eons from now...

Seriously though, I can't stand this Quickbooks POS 4.0 any longer. I have been cursing it for MONTHS and finally have the approval to get 2.0.

Anyone have a BETA I can download so I can begin the transfer of inventory and company data setup? I'm assuming that the retail final version will import and adopt BETA data files... If not, I will wait. I have already WASTED far too much time trying to get QB POS to function the way I need it.

Thanks Jeff

anybody know what pin pads are supported? that section on the new page does not show any pin pad models?

i am interested in hooking up a pin pad that has the card reader built in (like the Incenico eN-Crypt 2100). i seem to recall seeing somewhere that such a pinpad would be supported in 2.0

When can we expect the Maintenance Plan Customers to get a copy of RMS 2.0? Do we have to iniate a support request to recieve the updaytes 2.0 version or will it be sent automatically?

My plan expires end of January but I expect to renew before it expires.

RMS 2.0 is scheduled to begin shipping to existing customers on February 12,

2007. If you were under a current service contract on January 15, 2007 you should receive the disks automatically.
