What format are you using for the barcode syntax itself? Based on your ILC's, it looks like you should be using Code 128B. This will support both spaces and lower case (128A will only work with Uppercase). Give it a try and let me know...

Each Barcode format has different rules for the characters that can be encoded correctly - I'm sort of surprised that you got anything at all when trying to scan that code. Stick to numeric LookUpCodes if possible. If you must use alpha characters, Upper Case is usually better supported - but stay away from Spaces, Dashes and other 'special' characters.
