"Blue Screen" turn on the monitor after setup RMS

Hi.

I installed RMS system to my customer. And I got to "Blue Screen" after connected all devices on the Main computer.

My installation Procedure is belows;

  1. Window XP Pro SP 2 installation.
  2. RMS installation.
  3. Set-up devices as of cash-drawer, Pole Display, Barcode Scanner, and EPSON printer.
  4. Set-up devices value on the RMS

So, I want to make sure the procedure of RMS installation.

My question is belows;

  1. What is installation procedure with various devices and RMS ?
  2. Why turn on "Blue Screen" at monitor after connected all devices on the computer?

Probably a device driver. I run RMS on a laptop with no parallel port. If I forget to configure the dongle driver to not use the Parallel port after upgrading, I get a BSOD. You might want to try that -

C:\Program Files\Rainbow technologies\Sentinel System Driver

Run the configuration utility, go into the properties for the Parallel port (sometimes listed as "EPP") and uncheck "Use this port".

The pole display is another possibility. Just start uninstalling hardware until the problem goes away.

Dear Jeff

I appreciated to your recommendation. BSOD said to 4 possible causes that adequate disk space, device driver fault casued to stop message, need to BIOS updates, and memory option (physical memory).

And I want to explain to my customer RMS environment,.

1 main computer : Installed RMS Data base without dongle (RMS admin, RMS manager, RMS operator). station 1 : installed RMS with dongle RMS admin, RMS manager, RMS operator). station 2 : installed RMS with dongle RMS admin, RMS manager, RMS operator).

BSOD displayed station 1 and 2. Station 1 and 2 configured to Metrologic barcode scanner, EPSON laser printer(for printing receipt paper), and cash drawer. Cash drawer consisted to OPOS driver, it was download from web site that is APG OPOS configuration Utility V 3.20

So, I worry about cash drawer device and printer driver caused to conflit, is it available?

I need to your recommendation.
