Can manager be run on a remote laptop? we would like to be able to write PO's etc while on a buying trip. Can this be done or do we have to dial in using pc anywhere?

You have to be connected unless someone has an add-on available.
My company can implement a remote access solution for you that would allow you to do purchase orders remotely.
