We have Sales Reps set up in the system with commission rates.
My question is, in POS, as I ring in a transaction, can i change the Sales Rep commision on the fly ?
Or do i have to go back into Store Operations and change it there first ?
Short answer is "no" - cannot change the sales rep comm "on the fly". You'd need to first exit POS, then go to SO Mgr, change the comm setup, start up POS, ring up the sale again.

The simple commission structures available are by item or sales rep, then fixed amount or % of sales or profit. Anything more complicated than that, and you have to calculate it separatly and reward the employees offline with some other report or tracking system.
