Corrupted DB: Possible to copy specific table data?

Hi, I've pretty much accepted that my client's corrupted database is ireparable and at this stage I'm going for damage limitation. The Item table is more or less fine and I'll be able to run a report and export that to CSV, using it then for my new database. Same for Customer and Supplier tables. What I'm really interested in now is the Transactions and Journal tables- I'm wondering if there's any way I can get the data out of those and into the new database? Maybe I'm being hopelessly naive, but I'm sure there's a genius out there who can tell me one way or the other- convoluted, are you there?!

Thanks!
