i was wondering how to make it where you dont half to tab to go to then next line on pos so you can just scan an item and it will just go to next line

Jason, this is EASILY accomplished. Check the manual for the scanner you have. I am sure that there is a scan code that you can scan that will turn on the CR (Carriage Return ... after scan) feature. This way, when you scan the scan code is entered along with the carriage return.
Works ... and will solve your problem.
