Custom Layaway Report

I am looking for a way to have the Layaway (Summary) Report show the customer?s payments and remaining balance. I have customized some Item reports with notepad but I am unable to get the desired results when I try to edit the Layaway reports. If someone has a way to do this I would greatly appreciate it. I also downloaded the Layaway reports from customer source. They don't have the balance and lack other information that the Layaway (Summary) Report gives.

Don't know which reports you saw on CustomerSource and what other info you need/what, but there are 2 reports there with info about Layaway payments - the Report - Order Summary and Order Detail with Remaining Balance Calculation and the Report - Layaway Payments Including Payment Date

The Layaway shows each payment without a remaining which looks like it could be modified easily to include it, where the Order Summary shows what's been paid as a total, not each individual payments, but does show the remaining balance.

I took several reports (Layaway, Account, Sales) and opened them with notepad and modified data from different reports and made one nice Layaway Report. It took a little time but the outcome was really nice. If anyone is looking for a more detailed Layaway Report let me know.
