Junaid :
Once you add a report, with a name that starts with "Custom -", to the reports directory, the Custom menu item will become available.
The reason you don't see it now is because you (probably) don't have any "Custom" reports.
BTW, the easiest way to create a custom report is to start with an existing report and modify it... Just be sure to change the name to something that starts with "Custom -" when you save it

Thank you for the clarification Jeff...
I did not know that...
The report I dl'd from the link you (you are the same Jeff, right?) provided was "Custom - Detailed Sales Report by Hour.qrp", so I did not know and additional layer of naming convention existed - It is a very good idea though.
Thanks again,
Eric
While Eric is correct, we recommend you name the reports a little differently to be better organized.
Using RMS menu as a guide, we recommend you use the following structure;
Custom - Customer - Custom - Sales - Custom - Items -
That way the reports are sorted and grouped in the Custom menu similar to the way the standard RMS reports are.
One more thing, the spaces are required before and after the -.

You must be using Outlook Express or some other type of newsgroup reader to see and download the file attachment. If you are not using a reader, follow the link below to setup Outlook Express. Click on "Open with newsreader" under the MS Retail Management System on the right.
