Accessing custom reports

Evidently I missed something in RMS 2.0 when it comes to custom reports... It appears that if the report is in the "reports" directory (as defined in the Reports Path) and the filename begins with "Custom - " it should show up in the Reports drop down menu in the Custom Menu item.

Is there an additonal step to make RMS Manager display the report in the menu so one can run it?

I thought the same thing, but I still don't see them. I must be missing a step as I've noticed there are reports in the "reports" directory that don't show up in listings when you view the reports in the REPORTS menu. For example, there are eight reports in the Items sub-menu, but there are ten report files (prefixed) with the word Items. I have three reports prefixed with "Custom" but the custom menu item is still greyed out.

Is there something else that needs to be customized to control what appears in the dropdown menu? Thanks, Keith

If it's a report created while Manager is already open, close it and re-open to refill the list.

Once its in the list, one can open it, modify it and re-run the mods _usually_ without re-starting Manager.

Keith:

What is the path to your reports folder in RMS? Are you sure that you are storing and editing the custom reports in the same folder that RMS is opening your reports from?

Check SO Administrator on each computer running RMS. If you are storing/editing these reports on a network drive and a computer is reading reports from a local drive then your custom reports will not be available.
