Deos onyone know if POS 2.0 can do Debit card? Recommend any device? Instructions how to set it up?

We have been asking First Data for a couple of years about this. At first their debit pin machine was incompatible. Now, I'm not sure where it stands. We have a machine but it doesn't function. So let me know if you get any farther than we have.

3.0 to be shipping next year.
