Deleting a store from HQ

I am sure I really want to do this.

The article listed lists a bunch of sql commands, and says that these commands are done in Store Operations. Does that mean these are done at the store level?

The reason I am trying to remove a store is this: I had two locations that each had their own RMS database which were merged into one location last year. The location we are no longer using has simply been turned off and is no longer communicating with HQ. The data I want to remove is the dead store's data from HQ, since the information I did want to save has since been merged into the other store.
