Dongle are that going to stay?

I get constant complaint from customers about there dongle not working because they are starting it up in the wrong order. Are dongles going to stay i hope not why cant it just be like every other microsoft product with a key code.

Oh, you mean the non-protected software that you can buy it on the internet for $20. That will help you sell more software and really help your business, rrrright!

Microsoft POS does not use a dongle; it has an activation/registration code instead. At some point, I would expect RMS to be converted to that type of licencing, but don't hold your breath - from what I've heard the dongle will probably be with us for the next few years at a minimum.
