Form your Store Operations, you will open every item, open the record, update the price, save it and move to the next record. So, if it is 100 records, you will do this exercise 100 times!

Actually there is an inventory wizard that accomplishes that very task, very quickly and easily, built right into RMS. There may be other advantages(that I can't see) to this utility. But don't get it just to change prices in categories or departments..... actually don't get it to change prices at all, that is built into RMS.
